Amity Elementary School · Grades K–4

Building the Lifelong Learning Foundation for our Students.

Kindergarten through fourth grade. A school where curiosity is the first lesson and every child walks in knowing they belong here.

What we believe

The AES Vision.

Amity School District is committed to providing an educational system that enables each of our community's students to reach their greatest potential for the lifelong benefit of each student and the betterment of our community and our country.

Safe EnvironmentEvery student learns in a place where they feel physically and emotionally safe every day.
High ExpectationsWe hold every student to high standards and provide the support to help them reach those standards.
Family & CommunityFamilies and community members are essential partners in the education of each child.
Life-Long LearningWe build curiosity and the love of learning that lasts well beyond the elementary years.
Individual GrowthEvery student is recognized as an individual with unique needs, strengths, and potential.

Character + STEM

Warrior Way and STEAM.

Warrior Way is our school-wide character program — the values of a Warrior (respect, responsibility, kindness, and integrity) taught explicitly and recognized every week. STEAM Club extends those same habits of mind into robotics, engineering challenges, and creative problem-solving.

  • Warrior Way — school-wide character education
  • Robotics Club

Extended learning

Bridge and Kindergarten Camp.

Bridge is our afterschool program — a safe, structured place for AES students to do homework, make new friends, and get extra support from staff who know them. Kindergarten Camp each summer eases the transition into elementary school for our youngest Warriors and their families.

From the principal

"Every child who walks through our doors is capable of extraordinary things. Our job — every day — is to make sure they believe that about themselves before they ever believe it about anything else."
