Board Committees
The Board may appoint advisory committees to advise them on various areas of the school operation.
When standing committees are created by the Board, appointments will be for a definite term. The Board chairman will appoint standing committees which may address such areas as: Insurance, Transportation, Negotiations, Building and Grounds, Maintenance and Financial.
All matters referred to a committee will be thoroughly investigated by it. A committee will not have the power to act for the Board, except as the Board has specifically authorized an action, but will make recommendations to the Board. Committee recommendations and reports will become an official part of Board minutes.
